LOT Increases Number of Warsaw-Vilnius-Warsaw Flights
OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2013. LOT Polish Airlines (LOT) increasing the number of Warsaw-Vilnius-Warsaw flights and during the summer season on this route will operate 19 flights per week: three daily flights on weekdays and two - on Saturdays and Sundays.
Additional afternoon LOT flights will be operated by 70 seat jet plane Embraer-170. Flight from Vilnius to Warsaw will take about 1 hour and 5 minutes. Departure time from Warsaw to Vilnius on Mondays is 15:55, on Tuesdays-Fridays - 16:20, arrival to Vilnius - 18:00 and 18:25 respectively. Scheduled departure time from Vilnius will be 19:05.
Operating more flights between Vilnius and Warsaw LOT will be able not only to provide better service between the Lithuanian and Polish capitals but also will give travellers more convenient connection options from Vilnius to Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, London, Tel Aviv, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Bucharest, Cairo, Gdansk, Krakow and other destinations. Transfer time in Warsaw Chopin Airport for passengers travelling to Vilnius from New York, Chicago, Toronto, Beijing, Zurich, Milan, Sofia and Bucharest will be significantly improved as well.
