OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2013. During the 2012-2013 academic year, IBA Group in cooperation with the High-Tech Park (HTP), the Belarus’ Silicon Valley, organized 15 training sessions in various IT disciplines for higher-education teaching personnel of the specialized departments of Belarusian universities.

The trainings are aimed to improve the Belarusian higher education and raise the competitiveness of the Belarusian IT specialists in the local and international labor markets.

For two years, IBA Group has been involved in the educational project of HTP. During the past academic year, IBA Group conducted a series of free workshops on the following topics:

Computer graphics: state-of-the-art technology
Patterns of object-oriented design
Software development for mobile devices
Management of IT projects
Developing for mobile platforms
Agile software development
Business process modeling in ARIS environment
Development of web applications using Java EE
PHP MySQL and its practical aspects
Project management basics using PMBOOK
Practical risk management in software development
Oracle PL/SQL
Tools of RUP methodology
Data repositories
Modern systems of corporate performance management.

HTP expressed its gratitude to IBA Group for the company’s participation in this educational project. According to the academicians of Belarusian higher educational institutions who attended the IBA workshops, the most effective method of updating knowledge in IT is to transfer it directly from practitioners to teachers.
