OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2013. Within the project “Improving the financial literacy of the population of Ukraine” Crimea Regional Directorate of PLSC “Kyivska Rus” Bank organized the open day for senior citizens. The project is carried out with the financial support of KfW within the National media tour, which is organized by IABU and IPC.
 
Some mini-lections and master classes about bank cards, operation of ATMs were carried out for senior citizens, and they were told about the making payments by means of POS terminals. Also such a relevant topic as “Deposit” was opened. Within this topic the bank officers spoke about different types of deposits, taught the senior citizens to calculate the deposit interest rate, answered the following questions: “Can you entrust your money to the Bank?” and “Who can guarantee the refund of money?”
 
“At present it is more difficult to understand the new technologies and the proposals of the Bank because of rapid development of financial and banking market. Today our task is not only to offer qualitative services, but also to share knowledge about the products and advantages of banking services. We are sure that this practice can improve the loyalty of citizens to our Bank and the Bank sector in a whole” – said Tetyana Yarkina, the CEO of Crimea RD of JSB “Kyivska Rus”.
