OREANDA-NEWS. The international aerospace exhibition Paris Air Show 2013 is opening its doors for visitors. Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems is among its regular exhibitors.

Taking part in the 50th edition of Paris Air Show 2013, ISS-Reshetnev is showcasing its key projects in the field of communications, data-relaying and navigation. These include models of advanced spacecraft developed by the company which are displayed at an exhibition area organized jointly with the Federal Space Agency.

The Le Bourget show represents the major platform not only for the demonstration of cutting-edge advances in the aerospace industry, but also for networking opportunities with global leaders. Key event in the ISS-Reshetnev’s talks schedule is a welcome reception where members of a Siberian-European Satellite (SESAT) project will meet together. SESAT spacecraft is known to be the first product manufactured by Russia’s space industry for foreign customer. The telecommunication spacecraft ordered by EUTELSAT and created by the ISS-Reshetnev jointly in cooperation with Russian and foreign enterprises, was planned to live in orbit for 10 years; by now it has already been functioning successfully for 13 years.

JSC “Academician M.F. Reshetnev “Information satellite systems” representatives will participate in a conference organized for the leading companies in Russia and the major players in France; the conference is devoted to the cooperation between these two countries in aerospace industry.
