Tata Power Launches Over-Counter Bill Payment Facility at ICICI Bank
OREANDA-NEWS. Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility, in its continued quest to provide world class services to its customers, has redefined customer convenience for its Mumbai customers by launching over-the-counter cash and cheque bill payments. Reinforcing the tradition of customer care time and again, the company has increased the bandwidth of payment options by including ICICI Bank branches as an additional payment option over and above the existing online and offline modes of payment. Customers having any query may call the Tata Power call centre on 1-800-209-5161.
To locate an ICICI Bank branch or for a complete list, customers can make use of the offline payment options locator on Tata Power's website – cp.tatapower.com Speaking about the initiative, S Padmanabhan, executive director, operations, Tata Power, said, “It is our endeavour to provide convenient and value-added services to our customers. While Tata Power has various customer relations centres across the city and more than 2,000 offline payment options like Suvidhaa, Itz Cash World outlets and others, we believe this added service will add tremendous convenience to our customers.”
Tata Power has brought many such conveniences for its Mumbai customers in the area of customer care. Going a mile ahead, Tata Power now urges its customers to contribute towards nature preservation by giving them the choice to say no to paper bills. Paperless e-bills don’t just help the environment – they help consumers too. Conveniences of opting for e-bill are that customers can receive e-mail notification when an e-bill is available and view it prior to submitting payment. It is secure and confidential.
There is additional time to review and pay a bill prior to the due date, since there are no delays from standard mail delivery. Tata Power’s customer care initiatives also include a modern call centre for calls related to electricity bills, a multi-lingual customer portal in English, Hindi and Marathi, mobile collection vans, Itz Cash Card and Suvidhaa outlets for facilitating easy cash payments by customers, as well as online payment facilities.
