When appointing new president aides, chief inspectors for regions, Alexander Lukashenko remarked that is essential to make the top-down command structure in the country more efficient and focus on the personnel issue.
According to the head of state, he appointed the people who do not know much about Brest Oblast and Grodno Oblast chief inspectors for these regions to make sure they are not associated with the regional authorities. “Governors very well understand that the President Aide in the region, the personnel inspector is an assistant of the President in the region. No one will help you, you will rely on yourselves, study the situation in the regions and encourage certain specialists to submit proposals to the President,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
As for the work of Kirill Rudyi who was appointed President Aide, he will be in charge of economic issues. Alexander Lukashenko said that Kirill Rudyi is no stranger in the economic sector, is familiar with the operation of the public and private sectors and has experience of working in the People’s Republic of China. The head of state emphasized that Belarus is interested in the processes which take place in China and in the development track record of the country.
When appointing the new judge and chairman of the Minsk City Court, Alexander Lukashenko stressed that any interference with courts is inadmissible. The head of state added that there are no such problems in Belarus.
Addressing the heads of local executive bodies, the President instructed them to enhance farming in the regions paying special attention to northern districts of Minsk Oblast.
