Aeroflot Announced New on Board Summer Menu
OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from June 01 new Aeroflot summer 2013 menu is available on board both international and domestic flights. The menu was designed by the team of top international professionals from LSG Sky Chefs, a leading airline catering company.
A representative of Italian haute cuisine school Ulliam Lamberti, brand chief of "Ginza Project" and founder of Ulliam’s Restaurant near Patriarch’s Ponds in Moscow, took part in the menu design as well.
Aeroflot renews the on board menu on a regular basis — once in three months the business class menu is revised, and the menu for economy class is recomposed once in six months. During already a traditional degustation gala dinner Aeroflot top management and frequent flyers accompanied by invited celebrities and VIP’s are selecting the best on board dishes offered by the star chefs’ team.
Chef Lamberti introduced a delicious set of the exquisite dishes into the new summer menu: the appetizer section was renewed by two new choices — octopus with Pesto souse, potatoes and dried tomatoes; and duck breast with kumquat fruit and fresh ginger. Potato cream soup with croutons and Chilean seabass with veggies for a main course will make a perfect choice as well.
The world-renowned chef Kamel Benamar (head chef of "Bolshoi" and "Vanil" Moscow restaurants, owned by A.Novikov) as always presented his new dessert menu. Starting from this summer Aeroflot passengers will be offered macarons — light French biscuits with almond powder.
Following the demands of Aeroflot customers both business and economy class breakfast menus were enriched with oat and millet porridge with pumpkin.
