OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot is calling for its passengers to take part in choosing of a name for a forming Far Eastern Airline.

At the first stage Twitter users are welcome to send their proposals of a new regional airline name to Aeroflot official account www.twitter.com/aeroflot with #AFLVostok hashtag till June 25, 2013.

The winner name will be chosen through internet voting out of a list of twitter leading proposals and some variants provided by our consultants.

It will be the first time in the history of the Russian civil aviation, when the name of the company is invented together with passengers.

A new member of Aeroflot Group of Companies is being established in the Russia’s Far East region on the basis of SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia air carriers. The new company will boost the social and economic development of the Far East Region. By creating a new company in the Far East of Russia, Aeroflot performs its Strategy aimed at creating a solid aviation holding capable to be a successful competitor to the leaders of the World’s aviation industry.
