OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) organized a regional workshop for FAS regional offices of the Urals Federal District in Shadrinsk, the Kurgan region.

The workshop was opened by Deputy Head of FAS, Alexei Dotsenko and the Chief Federal Inspector of the Kurgan region, Vladimir Balakin.

“The objective of such events is to exchange experience on antimonopoly enforcement, identifying problematic issues and elaborating common legal positions on such issues. It also allows to hear the opinion of economic entities and representatives of the authorities”, said Alexei Dotsenko.

Participants discussed judicial and administrative practice of antimonopoly enforcement, administrative liability for violating the antimonopoly norms. Special attention was paid to establishing the dominant position of an economic entity and exercising antimonopoly control in rendering state and municipal services.
