Sberbank Investment Research, the market-leading Research Division of Sberbank CIB and one of the largest and most experienced analytical teams in the market, has once again achieved top rankings in the Russian and Emerging Markets categories of the Thomson Reuters Extel Pan-Europe Survey 2013.

Sberbank Investment Research was voted Russia’s leading brokerage firm, while its sector teams of analysts topped no fewer than nine categories covering Banks & Other Financials, Consumer/Retail, Economics & Macroeconomics, Equity Strategy, Fixed Income Research, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Telecommunications and Utilities. Sberbank Investment Research’s analysts also swept the board, commanding ten out of twelve individual first places in their respective sectors.

Last year, Sberbank Investment Research’s analysts were voted first place in three categories of the Russia Brokerage Firm awards. Additionally, five of the team’s individual analysts placed in the top ten analysts for Russia (with four placing in the top five positions) in the Leading Russian Research Analyst category. Also in 2012, Sberbank Investment Research obtained first place in five individual categories and three team categories for the Russian market for Pan-Emerging EMEA sectors in the Extel Pan-Emerging EMEA 2012 Survey, and took twelve leading positions, including five first places in the Institutional Investor All-Russia 2012 Rankings.
