OREANDA-NEWS.  The first China-Belarus interbank seminar "Organization of investment projects financing in Belarus with participation of China Development Bank" took place on May 30, 2013 in the Head Office of Belarusbank.

 The seminar was opened by the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Belarusbank Uladzimir Novik and the Trade and Economic Counsellor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus Liu Xuesong.

 The agenda of the seminar included two sessions where presentations of China Development Bank and Belarusbank were held.

 The representatives of China Development Bank presented information on the history of the creation, mission and main areas of business of China Development Bank. Special attention was paid to investments in sustainable development within the framework of China Development Bank philosophy and practice of social responsibility. Besides a detailed mechanism of investment projects evaluation and expertise as well as loan management in Chinese bank were covered. The Chinese colleagues spoke in their closing remarks about the prospective areas of financing of investment projects in Belarus together with Belarusbank.
