OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ - Foundry Production, part of OMZ Group, has successfully passed the certification audit of the labor protection and safety management system in compliance with Russian Federal Standard GOST 12.0.230-200(ILO-OSH 2001), OHSAS 18001:2007.

International standard OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) is an internationally recognized tool for increasing efficiency of company’s business and reducing staff risks. A comparable interstate standard GOST 12.0.230-2007 is valid for Russia and CIS.

Experts of accredited certification authority “Technoprogress” gave positive evaluation to the management system in labor protection and safety of OMZ - Foundry Manufacture.

As a result of comprehensive expert examination the company got a code certificate ensuring that the management system of labor protection and safety meets the GOST 12.0.230-200(ILO-OSH 2001) and OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements. The certification area included design and development of technological production processes of ingots, castings and steel production for ingots and castings, provision of the services for the heat treatment.
