Recently, news came from Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Limited (thereafter referred to as “CIMC Raffles”) that CIMC has ranked WISCO as the key supplier for oceaneering steel and products of the first trial contract will be produced on WISCO medium and heavy products line, which symbolizes the progress of exploiting the oceaneering steel market.

WISCO has a joint work team made up of the Oceaneering Steel Team of R&D Institute, Marketing Corporation, Quality Inspection Center, Steel–Making General Plant and Hot Rolling General Plant.

The team has several rounds of negotiations and communications with CIMC Raffles to introduce high performance oceaneering steel of WISCO.

Both parties had an extensive discussion and reached a concensus on process quality control, management system, quality inspection system, date of delivery and technical services. CIMC and CIMC Raffles extended the willingness to cooperate with WISCO to establish the world leading marine projects and contribute to the national marine economy.
