OREANDA-NEWS.  June 05, 2013. Ukraine will cooperate with the European Union and is set to sign an Association Agreement with the EU in November 2013. This was started by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko on air of Shuster Live television program.

"We have a clearly stated policy on the signing of the Association Agreement and free trade zone with the EU in November," said Yuriy Boyko.

He noted that during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych by persistent efforts Ukraine has reached such a level of cooperation with the EU, which makes it possible to sign this document.
"The President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has done much more to Association Agreement than all the previous government since independence. It was during his presidency as a result of long and hard preparation made possible the signing of the Association Agreement," Yuriy Boyko said.

In particular, Vice Prime Minister said that the law on domestic and foreign policy, which clearly states European integration course of Ukraine, was adopted and signed during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych.

Yuriy Boyko said that Ukraine from February 2011 became a full member of the European Energy Community, actually entered the EU in the energy sector.
