OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2013. A meeting with Michel Juzio and Eric Tainsh, representatives of OSEO and Adrien Lopato, coordinator of technological assistance of the Embassy of France in Russia was held in SME Bank (Vnesheconombank Group).

The mail goal of the meeting was to exchange experience in implementing the state lending support programs in Russia and France, as well as to discuss prospects for cooperation between the French development institution and SME Bank.

SME Bank and OSEO cooperate within the frame of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Vnesheconombank and OSEO in June 2011. Currently the parties consider the possibility of establishing Russian-French warranty fund for SME support and cooperation in scientific and technical area.

OSEO was founded in 2005. Its mission is to provide assistance and financial support to French SMEs and VSEs in the most decisive phases of their life cycle: start up, innovation, development, business transfer / buy out. By sharing the risk, it facilitates the access of SMEs to financing by banking partners and equity capital investors.
