OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2013. The Supervisory Board of Sberbank confirms that Maxim Poletaev has been appointed to the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia.

Maxim Poletaev’s responsibilities will include oversight of Sberbank’s retail and corporate banking segments, wealth management and the regions. His main tasks are to focus all efforts on business results and to coordinate business segments and regional banks to achieve maximum cooperation efficiency.

Maxim Poletaev is currently Member of the Board, Vice President and Chairman of the Moscow Bank of Sberbank of Russia. He will assume his new role as First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank of Russia and resign from the position of Chairman of the Moscow Bank upon permission from the Moscow Main Territorial Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. At that point, Oleg Smirnov, currently occupying the post of Chairman of Srednerussky bank of Sberbank, would be appointed as Chairman of the Moscow Bank.
