OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2013. Igor Sechin, Rosneft President and Chairman of the Management Board, held talks with CNPC management as part of a working trip to Beijing.

The parties discussed prospects for implementation of joint projects in seismic studies, exploration and hydrocarbon production and signed a number of documents concerning mutual cooperation.

The blocks in question are those located in Barents and Pechora Seas (West Prinovozemelsky, Yuzhno-Russky and Medynsko-Varandeisky) as well as onshore blocks in Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk Kray and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
