OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2013. In the social networking site, Facebook, a special page for the agenda setting of the Panel Discussion, Doing Business in Ukraine, which will be held on June 13, 2013 as a part of the ABC: Ukraine & Partners-2013 International Business Conference, opened.

The conference will be held at the initiative of Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov from 13 to 15 June 2013, in Kyiv. Its goal is to further promote dialogue between the authorities and business, to join efforts and find mutually acceptable ways of cooperation and ways of overcoming the negative impact of the global economic crisis.

During the discussion on Doing Business in Ukraine, which will start the conference, top managers of leading Ukrainian and foreign corporations, heads of business associations, leading Ukrainian and international experts will discuss ways to improve the investment attractiveness of Ukraine. Minister of Incomes and Fees Oleksandr Klymenko is joining the discussion.

"Through discussion, we want to hear from investors their expectations concerning Government’s activities towards the improvement of the investment climate. However, we expect together with all parties to jointly identify the steps in the tax and customs spheres, which will improve the attractiveness of Ukraine as a competitive platform for investments. I look forward to a professional, open and, most importantly, productive dialogue. It is important for us to hear the opinions and expectations of investors, even if they even not always reflect the views of the Government. It is known thought thrives on conflict," the Minister stressed.

Invited international experts and businessmen from Poland, Israel, Turkey will also discussed on investment climate:

Jacek Piechota, president of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce;

Eitan Wertheimer, founder of Iscar - Stef Wertheimer & family, a leading Israeli company specializing in the production of equipment;

Husnu Ozyegin - famous Turkish billionaire, investor, owner of the largest investment companies in Turkey Fiba Holding.

PwC Ukraine Business Development Director Andy Kuzich is Moderator of Doing Business in Ukraine.
