OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2013. The authority counts on economic boost in Ukraine in 2013, despite slackening of external sales markets.

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov announced during a meeting with Vice President of the European Parliament Yatsek Protasevych.

“Ukraine’s economics is suffering from significant difficulties which, first of all, are resulted from weakening of our external partners, in particular of Eurounion, as recession in the EU makes an impact on our trade turnover – it is being reduced. Slowdown in Asia influences our traiditonal markets as well. We hope to correct the situation and by the end of year achieve economic growth,” Mykola Azarov emphasized.

In turn, Yatsek Protasevych thanked Mykola Azarov for the support of a mission of Pat Cox and Alexander Kwasniewski. “On behalf of President Martin Shulz I want to thank you for your sincere support of the Cox- Kwasniewski mission,” he said.

“The Cox- Kwasniewski mission is a unique mission. It has used all possibilities 100 percent, to my mind. They have met with the President of Ukraine 15 times, they have met with the Prime Minister 15 times, they have met many times with representatives of the opposition of Yulia Tymoshenko,” Prime Minister of Ukraine told.

Inter alia, Mykola Azarov invited President of the European Parliament Martin Shultz to attend an investment conference titled Ukraine and Partners, which is to be held in Kyiv on June 13-14.
