OREANDA-NEWS. June 03, 2013. As part of its plan to expand cooperation with leading energy companies in the southern Urals, VTB Bank has signed an agreement with Chelyabenergosbyt to provide a 12-month credit line worth RUB 1 billion.

The company explained that the company’s entire credit portfolio would not be increased.

Chelyabenergosbyt was established on 31 January 2005 after the reorganisation of Chelyabenergo. Today it is one of the leading energy supply companies in the southern Urals. Its main activity is the purchase of electricity on the wholesale market and selling it to retail clients.

In the Chelyabinsk Region the company acts as a guaranteed supplier and delivers electricity to all municipal entities. The company’s client database includes over 39,000 legal entities and 1.3 million private individuals.
