Belarus Will Spend USD 3.6bln to Take Care of Credit Liabilities
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus will have to pay out as much as USD 3.6 billion within a one-year period to take care of its credit liabilities and expenses associated with bonds and securities, the National Bank of Belarus (NBB) said in a statistical report.
The one-year period starts on May 1, 2013 and lasts till May 1, 2014.
Expenses associated with credit liabilities, bonds and securities stand at USD 3.596 billion; and another USD 280.6 million is earmarked for forward transactions.
According to the report, Belarus’ foreign currency assets stood at USD 9.315 as of May 1, 2013.
