OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2013. In Q1, 2013 509 dwelling houses with total area 69.3 thousand sqm were put into service, 17.1% up versus Q1, 2101.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-March, 2013 391 detached houses with total area 61.1 thousand sqm were put into service by the expense of population facilities, 9.7% up versus January-March, 2012.

It makes 88.2% from total amount of houses put into service in Q1, 2013. In particular, 321 detached houses with total area 46.5 thousand sqm were put into service in urban area, 34% up versus Q1, 2012; 178 dwelling houses with total area 22.8 thousand – in rural area, 7% down versus Q1, 2012.

The total share of houses in urban area grew from 58.6% to 67.1% in January-March, 2013 as compared with in January-March, 2012; the total share of houses in rural area decreased from 41.4% to 32.9%. The biggest share of new houses construction works was in Chisinau (340 new apartments with total area 49.5 thousand in Q1, 2013) – 71.4% from the total share of new houses; it is 20.4% up versus Q1, 2012.

There were 12.7% of dwelling houses put into service in North and 12.6% in Center. Only 9 houses (1.6% from the total share of new houses) were put into service in Gagauz and 10 houses (1.7% from the total share of new houses) in South.
