OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov opened vehicular traffic along the overpass from Volodymyrskyi Uzviz to Naberezhno-Khreshchatytska street in Poshtova Ploshcha (Postal Square) in Kyiv.

“Infrastructure projects mean quality of life, infrastructure projects mean workplaces. It is loading of our enterprises that receive orders and many enterprises have an opportunity to participate in such projects. Opening of the mentioned object is the first turn of this huge, certainly, the most complicated road intersection in Kyiv. The second turn will be the tunnel. The third turn is beautification of the territories,” Mykola Azarov said. 

He assured the Government would further implement large infrastructure projects in the capital, so that to make Kyiv a true European city. “The President and the Government will continue development of the capital,” Mykola Azarov explained.

Moreover, the head of Government got acquainted with the course of reconstruction of Poshtova Ploshcha and with prospects of construction of Podol bridge crossing over the Dnipro and a section of Podilsko-Vygurivska line of the subway in the direction of Troyeshchyna district.

“There is not a simple situation in the world and in Ukraine and it is extremely hard to solve issues of rhythmical financing of construction of all infrastructure objects. And the country is being developed, not only in Kyiv new junctions are launched. Practically every week the country sees launch of a huge significant object. It is hard but the country is developing. We are working, putting in exploitation new objects and will continue development of the country,” Mykola Azarov emphasized.
