Passenger Carriers of Tatarstan Presented New Buses
OREANDA-NEWS. A technical conference of OJSC KAMAZ and Tatarstan’s enterprises using NEFAZ buses was held in Naberezhnye Chelny yesterday, on the 23rd of May.
The conference was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Transport and Road Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with Leasing Company KAMAZ. The representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tatarstan and the managers of Tatarstan’s motor carriers using buses were among the invited guests. The event was attended by Oleg Ershov, General Director of Leasing Company KAMAZ Inc.; Oleg Smirnov, Chief Designer of Neftekamsk Automobile Plant; and also Dmitry Isaev, Director of Sales and Service of KAMAZ-Marco Joint Venture.
The participants of the conference visited production facilities of OOO RariTEK, KAMAZ’s distributor of gas equipment for vehicles and buses. Then they saw the latest developments of Neftekamsk Automobile Plant presented on the territory of KAMAZ’s automobile service center in Naberezhnye Chelny. The exposition included restyled models of a NEFAZ-5299 intercity bus and a NEFAZ-5299 city bus in various versions with a Euro 4 engine, and also Bravis buses. Then the guests visited a bus chassis assembly shop at KAMAZ’s automobile plant.
The passenger carriers were presented products of JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, service and warranty maintenance of vehicles, and products of Leasing Company KAMAZ at the general directorate of KAMAZ. Later, an agreement of intention and cooperation was signed with several motor carriers of the Republic of Tatarstan which provides for deliveries of Bravis buses. By the way, one of the Bravis buses presented at the exhibition was given to one of the passenger carriers who participated in the conference for trial operation.
Bravis buses are produced by KAMAZ-Marco Joint Venture set up 50/50 by KAMAZ and the well-known Brazilian company Marcopolo S.A. Buses are made in Neftekamsk on the premises of JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria.
