OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2013. Young professionals and managers from Deutsche Bahn AG are undergoing training from 16 May to 1 June 2013 at Russian Railways' facilities in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region, the Republic of Tatarstan and Krasnodar Territory.

The training is part of the Young Professionals exchange programme for high-flying young managers and professionals at Russian Railways and Deutsche Bahn. Up to 15 employees between the ages of 24 and 35 will acquire knowledge about each other's railway systems, rail sectors and transport markets during their stay at the partner company.

The programme began in 2010 at the initiative of Vladimir Yakunin, President of Russian Railways, and Rudiger Grube, CEO and Chairman of Deutsche Bahn AG.

During the internship, the participants in the programme will attend lectures, round tables with the management of Russian Railways, inspect advanced railway facilities and the Company's social and community facilities and tour the construction projects and infrastructure being built for the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games to be held in Sochi in 2014, as well as the transport infrastructure for the XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.
