OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ is participating in the largest agricultural exhibition AGRO-2013 which has opened in Kiev.

KAMAZ’s stand shared with the Ukrainian dealers will offer the visitors a number of new models of high-payload agricultural vehicles. It should be noted that KAMAZ has always considered Ukraine as one of the top priority markets. Thus, according to the results of last year, KAMAZ again became the leader on the Ukrainian market of trucks with payload of over 16 tonnes: the share of KAMAZ in this segment made 22.6%. The Agro exhibition for the automobile plant on the Kama is an opportunity to show potential customers new products which will hit the Ukrainian market, as predicted by KAMAZ’s marketing experts.

For example, the center of KAMAZ’s exposition will be a new grain carrying combination consisting of a dump truck made by the Ukrainian plant ALEKO on a KAMAZ-6520-63 chassis and a SZAP-83053 trailer. The grain carrier can transport 73 cbm of grain, and against a customer’s order, a larger dumping unit can be mounted on it. One of the main advantages of the grain carrier on the KAMAZ-6520-63 chassis is low fuel consumption, due to which it can be on a par with vehicles produced in Western Europe. Considering that fuel expenses are a significant part of operating costs, the use of the grain carrier on the KAMAZ-6520-63 chassis ensures higher economic efficiency of grain transportation.

Besides, KAMAZ exhibits a three-axle trailer on a SZAP-83053 chassis made by Trailer KAMAZ Inc. According to Rafail Gafeev, General Director of ZAO Foreign Trade Company KAMAZ, the results from the trial operation of the combination with a body made by ALEKO point to the high potential competitiveness of the new model. He also noted that the grain carrier would be able to find its niche on the Ukrainian market and become one of the central models of KAMAZ’s new Euro 3 line.

In addition, KAMAZ will present a dump truck on a KAMAZ-65115 chassis produced by ALEKO (17.5 t payload, 29 cbm body capacity) and a KAMAZ-65117-030-62 high-sided vehicle with a KAMAZ 740.62 Euro-3 engine for transportation of various crops which is already well-known to Ukrainian customers.
