OMZ Placed Hydrotreatment Reactors on Angarsk Petrochemical Refinery
OREANDA-NEWS. Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, set two P-201 reactors into their permanent positions on the platform of JSC Angarsk Petrochemical Company.
Primary to the placement of the vessels into the permanent position the reactor was assembled together with lower support shells, welding, heat treatment and ultrasonic inspection of this welded construction in field conditions were accomplished. Then the vessel was transported from the intermediate platform to the installation site. The installation was accomplished by the Service Center of Izhorskiye Zavody with the participation of subcontractors CJSC Uralenergomontage Manufacturing Group and CJSC Spetsstroymash Company.
P-201 reactors are aimed for hydrotreatment and isodewaxing of straight-run diesel fuel in order to produce ”summer” and “winter” fuel types with ultra-low sulfur content (Euro-5 standard). Reactors represent vessels of 40 m height, up to 3.5 m in diameter and 350 tones of weight. The equipment was manufactured by Izhorskiye Zavody and delivered to JSC Angarsk Petrochemical Company in 2012 in terms of the contract signed in 2011. Furthermore Izhorskiye Zavody will manufacture two more R-101 reactors for the same refinery and will set the vessels into the permanent position on the customer’s platform and will assemble vessel internals inside each of them.
This is not the first time Izhorskiye Zavody installs manufactured equipment into permanent position on the customer’s platform. In 2011 in terms of the contract with JSC TAIF-NK (Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan) Izhorskiye Zavody successfully manufactured, transported to the customer and installed using the facilities of the Service Center into permanent position a hydrotreatment DS-302 reactor.
