OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2013. State Agency of Land Resources of Ukraine has developed a draft law "On circulation of agricultural land," the adoption and implementation of which will implement in Ukraine civilized land market relations, and bring the development of the agricultural sector of the economy of our country to the level of developed countries. This was stressed by First Deputy Chairman of the State Agency of Land Resources Artem Kadomskyy, speaking in Brussels on the Eighth Joint Meeting of the Subcommittee № 3 "Policy of enterprises, competition, cooperation in the regulatory sphere" of the Committee on Cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.

During the meeting, the speaker spoke in detail about the prospects of opening the agricultural land market in Ukraine and the withdrawal of land relations on the level of advanced countries.
Artem Kadomskyy stressed that while drafting it was taken into account experience of developed countries, and first of all EU’s experience in the sphere circulation of agricultural land. This concerns above all the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the legislation and regulations of the European Community, of the significant issues that affect the development of the Ukrainian economy. And the adoption of such a law actually has to finish formation of the legislative framework for the introduction of market sale of agricultural land in Ukraine. This basic document, as the First Deputy Chairman of the State Land Agency of Ukraine noted, will realize the most promising areas of cooperation with the EU.

Artem Kadomskyy also drew attention to areas that need of advice and assistance of European experts and on study the best European practices in the field of land relations.
