The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against the Moscow City Department for Housing and Utility Services and Amenities upon signs of violating of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. The department prevented use of anti-icing reagents produced by “Volgograd Magnesium Works” Ltd. in Moscow.
Anti-icing reagents produced by “Volgograd Magnesium Works” Ltd. underwent large-scale testing, based on which the Department made favourable conclusions in accordance with the Decree of the Moscow Government “On the Procedures for Allowing to Use Anti-Icing Reagents for Winter Cleanup of Road Facilities in Moscow”.
