PrivatBank Launched Service on Receiving SWIFT-Transfers
OREANDA-NEWS. PrivatBank introduced a new service on receiving SWIFT-transfers from abroad to a bank card account without visiting the bank’s outlets. Receiving transfers automatically to the payment card account will be faster and cheaper than the traditional way of getting them on the current account. The card is issued by PrivatBank free of charge, while the commission fee for receiving SWIFT-transfers equals 0.5%. You can use the received funds to pay for goods and services at retail stores or to withdraw cash free of charge at any ATM of any Ukrainian bank.
"Earlier it was necessary to open a bank account to receive transfers from abroad and pay commission fees for cash withdrawing, but now using the payment card reduces costs for receiving money transfers twofold," - said Michael Rogalsky, PrivatBank Head of Mass payments and money transfers. - "To receive transfers in such easy way you just need to inform the sender of your card account details."
There is no need to visit the bank’s outlet to obtain the required details of card account for receiving a transfer - they are available via the Internet-banking system Privat24, at any ATM or self-service terminal of PrivatBank any time 24/7. For receiving foreign currency transfers the payment card must be issued in the required payment currency: USD, EUR or RUR.
