OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2013. In April of the current year over 3.14 thousand persons became payers of value added tax. As compared to the last year their number has grown by 20 percent. Over this period there were issued almost 5 thousand forms of certificates of registration of payers of this tax.

As fixed by analysts of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees, monthly over 3 thousand VAT payers are registered. Overall, by May 1, 2013 there have been registered over 242.6 thousand persons. 

At the same time, the Ministry informs, the payers will not have to receive registration certificates soon. A respective draft law was elaborated by specialists of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees and supported at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In particular, the draft document envisages refusal from the practice of issuing to VAT and single tax payers a registration certificate and replacement of it to the extract form containing data from respective registers. Just after registration the data about tax payer will be made public at the official website of the Ministry.

In case this draft bill is supported in the Parliament, tax payers will obtain a chance to significantly economize time and resources in the process of interaction with state bodies and simplified conditions of making business in Ukraine, according to the Ministry specialists. 

It should be noted that draft Law “On making changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning registration of tax payers” was elaborated by the Ministry of Incomes and Fees of Ukraine on implementation of the National Action Plan for 2013 and also Action Plan on improvement of showings of Ukraine in ratings of the World Bank and the Doing Business international financial corporation.
