RInfra Launches Online Voluntary Deposit Scheme for Mumbai Consumers
OREANDA-NEWS. Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. (RInfra), India’s leading integrated infrastructure and power Company today launched Online Voluntary Deposit Scheme (VDS) for its power consumers in Mumbai. VDS will allow consumers to deposit money with RInfra that will be used every month to pay for their electricity bill. Consumers will also get 7% annualized interest rate on reducing balance, on their deposits
Earlier, consumers had to personally visit Company’s Customer Care Centre and complete all the required formalities, i.e., filling in the application form, etc, to avail this scheme.
Now, with this newly launched Online Voluntary Deposit Schemes, consumers - especially the Senior Citizens, Online Service Users, frequent travellers, etc., can now avail this scheme online from any place of their convenience.
Consumers can also monitor their bill payments online and make additional deposits. By availing this facility, consumers can also receive prompt payment incentive of 1% on their monthly energy charges.

With the launch of Online VDS, our Mumbai power consumers will be free from missing payment deadlines and enjoy hassle free payment option whenever and from wherever they want. They will further enjoy 7% annual interest rate on reducing balance, on their deposited amount plus, additional 1% incentive on energy charges for availing this scheme.”
