OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2013. MCC Vice President Wang Xiufeng met with the delegation of Acciona S.A. headed by its Vice President Manuel Farinas at MCC Tower.

Wang extended warm welcome to the visiting guests, and placed a high premium on the remarkable competence and achievements made by Acciona, one of the largest worldwide companies for sea water desalination. He expected both parties to strengthen communication on market, technology and project operation, as well as actively promote the collaboration on key projects.

Vice President Manuel Farinas made a briefing on the current situation of sea water desalination business in Spain and the operational performance of Acciona; he introduced the typical desalination projects undertaken by Acciona. The Vice President stated that Acciona was well experienced in the engineering design, construction and operation for desalination works, and wished both parties to cooperate closely in this field.

The other attendees at the meeting included: Director Li Pengcheng from Development & Planning Dept. of MCC; Vice Director Jin Dewei from Scientific Technology Dept. of MCC; General Manager Wang Bo and Vice General Manager Qian Yu of MCC Sea Water Desalination Investment Co., Ltd.
