OREANDA-NEWS. May 21, 2013. The National Commission on Securities and Stock Exchange (NCSSE) signed a bilateral Memorandum of understanding and the exchange of information with the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority. This event took place in Kyiv.

Dmytro Tevelev, Chairman of NCSSE represented Ukrainian side at the meeting and Egypt was represented by Osama Tawfik Badr, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt.

"NCSSE welcomes the signing of the Memorandum with Egyptian counterparts. Now we have the opportunity to work more closely, especially in the fight against crimes in the stock market and investor protection. Stock markets of both countries are at the stage of development, and we hope that working together, sharing information and experience we will have positive impact on the performance of our business," Dmytro Tevelev said.

In turn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt noted that the Memorandum is an extremely important step, trade turnover between countries is increasing, and in terms of consumption of Ukrainian goods Egypt ranks third place in the world. The Ambassador expressed hope that the cooperation will positively affect the growth of these indicators.

Recall that in early April NCSSE signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding and the exchange of information with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus.
