OREANDA-NEWS.  May 17, 2013. With the beginning of the year the percentage of actualized town-planning documentation in the regions of Ukraine increased by 4.5 times.

"On June 1, 2013 all the cities and regions of Ukraine will have the actualized town-planning documentation, including the master plans. This is one of the key components of the development of the construction industry," the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Vilkul said.

In January, Oleksander Vilkul set the task to the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services to update town-planning documentation of regions, cities and districts, as well as to create conditions for increasing investment attractiveness of the construction industry.

At the beginning of 2013 only 22% of cities and districts had updated town-planning documentation. Now already 97% of territories have updated plans. The work is at the final stage in Vinnitsa, Kirovograd and Ternopil regions.
