OREANDA-NEWS. JSC TGC-1 fully transferred the Electric Station #2 of Centralnaya CHPP for water supply system of Vodokanal St. Petersburg. After the reconstruction of in-pipe lines and equipment at the oldest power plants in Petersburg the priority project finished. It ran in the framework of TGC-1’s program to improve the quality and reliability of heat supply. All the CHPPs were switched on potable water.

Contract with SUE Vodokanal of St. Petersburg to lift restrictions on connecting the stations of JSC TGC-1 to the urban water supply was signed in August 2011. It resulted in the achievement of compliance with the quality standards of sanitary hot water for Vasileostrovskaya, Vyborgskaya and Centralnaya CHPPs.
