OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2013. From the year’s start the amount of construction sites in the frames of realization of the Available Housing program has grown ninefold. Now the project number of apartment buildings that are to be built makes up 77 – which is over 6.6 thousand flats.

“From the beginning of year only in Dnipropetrovsk region there has been built a microdistrict of available accommodation objects. Nowadays the activities are underway in Lviv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Odessa, Kharkiv regions and in Kyiv, Sevastopol,” a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Vilkul said.

It should be noted that to reduce the cost of accommodation the Ministry of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine has elaborated projects of construction of recurrent use which cuts expenses for project materials. Moreover, communications are connected to the construction site for the budget funds in the regions. In addition, under the Available Accommodation programs the land is allotted free. It enables to cut by 20-40% the cost of square meter of accommodation in these buildings. 

Overall, there have been already prepared 43 land plots in the regions for construction of 194 apartment houses with the total area of over 1.2 mln square meters. It is more than 22 thousand flats.
