OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2013. At the headquarters of the group, President Jia Baojun met with the visiting Mr. Viktor Mayko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and his entourage. Both sides had an in-depth and friendly talk on matters concerning cooperation between them.  

President Jia said, as a multinational company providing comprehensive supporting facilities and integrated services for the iron-steel industry and steel plants, Sinosteel has maintained in-depth and friendly business relations with many countries across the world and, with more than 20 overseas business outlets, it has seen increasingly growth in its business on the international market. Now, it has established good cooperation with Ukrainian companies in the business of ferronickel and iron ores and in future, it would like to further increase its communication with Ukrainian companies to propel their win-win cooperation and thus to make due contribution to the long-term development of economic cooperation between China and Ukraine.

Mr. Viktor Mayko said, being the largest producer of iron and steel in the world, China has had a metallurgical industry with a strong production capacity and great comprehensive strength, so the Ukrainian government would like to provide convenient and thoughtful services for economic contacts between companies of both sides and to deeply expand cooperation in multiple areas with Sinosteel with the aim of improving the size and level of pragmatic cooperation between the metallurgical industries of both sides and to push up continuously economic cooperation between the two countries to bring out more abundant fruits.
