OREANDA-NEWS. On the strength of updated information, Vladivostok Air performed 3 406 flights beginning January through April, 2013 using own aircraft fleet. Operational passenger traffic made 750 million passenger-kilometers. A total of 328 thousand passengers were carried within the specified four-month period, of those 245 thousand on domestic, and 83 thousand — on international routes. Increase in domestic traffic made 12%. Consequently, the total number of passengers carried in comparison with the same period of the last year increased by 5%.

Flight frequency of Vladivostok Air aircraft fleet is growing: payload flight time using TU-204-300 aircraft increased by 27%, that for А320 aircraft — by 20%.

Availability of scheduled flight service made 94.15% to exceed the same for the last year by 9.33% and to substantiate positive trend that originated earlier this year. The results achieved by the company in that domain did not pass unnoticed by the Federal Agency of Air Transport whose rating listed Vladivostok Air among the three top Russian airlines for service availability following the results of the first three months of 2013!

April was the first month when Vladivostok Air was operating under the conditions of summertime flight schedule. As mentioned before, its distinguishing feature is significantly increased flight frequency with convenient connections to the cities of Russia and abroad, to the Asian Pacific countries.

Further, new tourist charter destinations open during the summer season of holidays and vacationing. Throughout the summer season, one may travel to the border city of Yanji in China from Vladivostok. Beginning July, the flight from Vladivostok to Dalian — already a darling of the locals in the Russian Far East, will reopen.
