OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2013. Sinochem Petroleum Brazil Co., Ltd. under Sinochem Group obtained “Grade A Operator” status in the qualification review organized by Brazil’s Administration of  National Petroleum (ANP).

A total of 71 global petroleum companies participated in the qualification review in Brazil this time, and among the first 25 companies released in the review result, 13 companies obtained Grade A qualification.

ANP divides petroleum companies into Grade A, B and C in terms of the operator  excellence, with Grade C allowing for land-based operation, Grade B for land-based and shallow water operations and Grade A for land-based, shallow water and deep water operations.
