OREANDA-NEWS.  May 14, 2013. VI Tashkent International Investment and Financial Forum took place in the capital of Uzbekistan – city of Tashkent. It was organized by the Saipro information and rating agency, together with the Ministry of foreign economic relations, investments and trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In this year more than 600 representatives of domestic and foreign insurance companies, leasing, accounting and investment firms, international financial institutions and rating agencies, ministries, public organizations etc participated in the work of Forum.
Traditional ceremony of awarding diplomas to the winners of "Gold Umbrella" and "Gold Portfolio" awards, established by Saipro information and rating agency with the support of Uzbekistan Banks’ Association, Association of Professional Participants of Uzbekistan’s Insurance Market, Uzbekistan Leasing Association, took place during the work of Forum.

Public awards "Gold Umbrella" and "Gold Portfolio" are an effective ways of popularization of financial services. The award is given annually to the leaders of the market during the ceremony, which is widely covered by mass media. Thus insurers, bankers, lessors have real opportunity to create more positive and brighter image of financial market.

According to the opinion of expert jury the following awards have been given - "Best Bank of the Year" - National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, "Best Innovative Bank Project of the Year" - Open Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Qishloq Kurilish Bank". POJSEB "Trustbank" has received award "Best Private Bank of the Year".
