OREANDA-NEWS.  May 14, 2013. Two Chinese companies will implement four projects with the cost of US.56 million at the special industrial zone Jizzakh.

The Government of Uzbekistan signed a resolution “On measures on organization of high technologic production capacities at the territory of special industrial zone “Jizzakh”.

According to the document, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan signed agreements on implementation of four projects at the special industrial zone “Jizzakh” with Chinese companies ZTE (H.K.) Ltd and Wenzhou Jingshen Trade Co. Ltd.

In particular, ZTE (H.K.) Ltd implements project on production of mobile handsets and their accessories. The cost of the project is US.16 million. The capacity of the plant is 100,000 applications a year. It is expected that 10% of product will be imported and the localization level will make up 30%.

Wenzhou Jingshen Trade Co. Ltd. will launch capacities on production of sanitary equipment with the cost of US million. The capacity of the plant is 1.2 million units of products a year.

The Chinese company will implement a project on processing cattle products with the capacity of 1,000 tonnes a year. The project cost is USD 1.4 million.

Wenzhou Jingshen Trade Co. Ltd. will invest USD 1 million to production of forage for cattle. The enterprise will produce 1,000 tonnes of forage a year.

The production capacities will be placed at Peng Sheng LLC. In line with the resolution, Peng Sheng received tax and customs preferences.
