OREANDA-NEWS. These works were a part of the efforts to modernize the core equipment of the only oil refinery in the North-West of Russia.

The installers of OJSC SEM completed electrical installation works on four engineering systems of KINEF LLC: a primary oil processing unit, a diesel hydrotreater unit, a catalytic reforming process plant and a plant for the production of elemental sulphur. Other works included replacement and repair of electrical equipment, piping, control instrumentation equipment. Reconstruction was completed in a short time and with high quality. The works were accepted by the customer unconditionally.

Under a contract signed for 2013, OJSC SAM now continues repair work on these engineering systems of the enterprise: oil refining plant, sulphuric acid production unit, orthoparaxylenes and total xylenes. Electricians will have to perform repairs of automatic process control system of the gas control units, electrical equipment and transformer substation of the plant, as well as replace lighting on smoke exhaust chimneys of the enterprise.

Under the repairs plan 2013, OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh (OJSC SEM) will repair the total worth of 57 million roubles of equipment for KINEF LLC.

OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh is a part of the Holding TITAN-2. For the past 45 it has been successfully performing all types of electrical works, as well as develops design, engineering, production and process documentation. The specialists of OJSC SEM have carried out a full range of electrical work as part of the first phase of construction of the South-West Power Station, they are working at PA Kirishinefteorgsintex LLC and performing electrical installations at a gas turbine station of Novy Urengoy Gas Chemical Plant.

OJSC KINEF is the only oil refinery enterprise in the North-West of Russia. Currently the enterprise is constructing an advanced petroleum refining complex, which will process up to 4.9 million tons of fuel oil to produce diesel and jet fuel that meet the highest requirements for their environmental and performance properties. Along with the improvement of product quality, the oil refining efficiency will increase, reaching over 65%.
