Power Uzbekistan Exhibition Takes Place in Tashkent
OREANDA-NEWS. The 8th Power Uzbekistan 2013 exhibition will take place from 13 to 15 May 2013 at Uzexpocentre in Tashkent. Power Uzbekistan is an important tool for introducing new developments and technologies, strengthening international links, and attracting new investment capital. Its combined platform presents Uzbekistan’s rich potential for development and modernisation of the energy sector.
From 40 last year, this year’s event will feature over 60 exhibitors from Belarus, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France and the Czech Republic. Exhibition space has grown by 45% from last year, when 79% of exhibitors assessed the exhibition as excellent and 21% as good.
Russian companies again occupy a leading position with 23 exhibitors, with Uzbekistani firms in second place with 11. These and other exhibitors will showcase: developments for heat supply and producing electrical and heat energy; equipment for converting, transmitting and distributing energy; alternative energy sources and new energy-saving achievements; metering and monitoring devices for consumption of heat, energy, gas and water; and much more.
Exhibitors represent a wide range of sectors of the power industry:
• Along with other renewable sources, solar power is a key area in Uzbekistan thanks to government measures to optimise energy costs. Exhibitors presenting solar batteries at Power Uzbekistan will include Premium Technics, Chagatay-Invest, Solar Energy, Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric and Power Suntech
• Energoresurs, Mega-Electro, Uzelectroapparat-Electroshield, Asia Electromega: Alageum, CTR Diagnostic Product, EKF Electrotechnika , Cheaz-Elpri, Diamech, Weifang Supermaly Generating Equipment, Ekra, SoyuzElectroAvtomatika and more will all present power and electricity products
• Developments and solutions for protection, automation, monitoring and management of power facilities will also be showcased by Bresler, Patent-Dubl, Elster Metronica, Energosoyuz, Alstom Holding, DEP, ASU-Engineering and others
• The Cables and Cable Systems section of the exhibition will feature the global leaders Tyco Electronics, EAE Elektrik and Energocomplekt
• Hydrogenerators and large power machinery will be presented by companies including Electrotyazhmash, Power Machines, and Hydro Energy
The professional atmosphere will be enhanced by Power Uzbekistan’s event programme, which begins on 14 May (the second day of the exhibition). On the topic of ‘Power 2013: Innovation, Solutions, Prospects’, a series of seminars will be held in the Atrium Congress Hall on the latest aspects of responsible energy use.
Power Uzbekistan offers a presentation of the development and potential of key industrial sectors such as power, electricity machinery, coal mining and industrial construction – the areas which shape the economy of Uzbekistan.
