OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ Special Steels, a part of OMZ Group, successfully passed the audit of compliance of Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2008. The audit was conducted by two audit authorities: SAI Global Limited, an International Accreditation Forum member, and Russian Certification Association “Russian Register”.

The Audit of compliance of Quality Management System to international standard ISO 9001:2008 was conducted in regard to the following manufacturing activities: engineering and developing of technological processes of manufacturing ingots, forgings, sheets and plates; steel fabrication for ingots and castings; forging operations; sheets and blanks manufacturing; machine processing of forgings, castings and blanks; fabrication, straightening and forming of sheets; service rendering for heat processing of forgings, sheets, castings, blanks, welded constructions.

Results of the audit confirmed that the Quality Management System fully meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
