OREANDA-NEWS. Goznak has adopted a decision to become the General Sponsor of Watermark Conference-2013- the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference on Security Printing which will take place in Saint-Petersburg on June 25 – 27.

Representatives of national and commercial banks, government institutions, first persons of leading companies – manufacturers and consumers of security products, banknote and equipment manufacturers, material suppliers, security technology developers and banknote designers have already confirmed their participation in the conference. Over 280 delegates from 23 countries will come to Saint-Petersburg. Including those from Italy, France, Germany, Angola, Indonesia, India, Oman, Sudan, Switzerland, Great Britain, USA, Holland, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Canada, Poland.

Employees of the Bank of Russia, ministries and agencies, state and private companies of our country will represent Russia at Watermark Conference-2013.

Companies present their recent developments at international conferences of this level. At the working sessions and the exhibition that will be held within the framework of Watermark Conference-2013 Goznak will make a presentation of the innovative security features developed by the employees of the company and applied to the promotional banknote dedicated to the 195th anniversary of the company.

The promotional banknote is issued in the hi-tech style and reflects the company’s recent achievements, its openness and innovative activity direction.

The set of security features of the banknote developed by the specialists of Goznak is based upon thread with the “Mobile” kinetic effect embedded into paper in the window manner, a new optically variable security features “Shine” preventing document copying. The promotional banknote also demonstrates a voluminous security element (3D) printed with faintly observed inks with properties providing visualization of the 3D effect when observed in special glasses.

Among other novelties to be demonstrated by Goznak at Watermark Conference-2013 there is an approach to the development and creation of ID-documents the production of which is becoming one of the leading trends of the company’s activity. Particularly, preparation works to introducing the travel document of a refugee and the residence permit of a stateless with additional biometric characteristics in Russia will be spoken about.
