OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2013. The bulk of the fixed assets given on lease was represented by vehicles, making MDL 712 million or 87% of a total amount of the fixed assets. Motor cars made up the 91% share (MDL 651 million) in this amount.

According to NBS, a share of 5 largest leasing companies by an amount of fixed assets given on lease was 67% in 2012 against 72% in 2011. In 2012 the value of fixed assets to be paid for up to three years was MDL 5151.1 million or 63% of the total value of leased assets.

The value of fixed assets to be paid for three to five years was MDL 217.4 million or 27% of the total value of leased assets.

The value of fixed assets to be paid for over five years was MDL 83.6 million or 10% of the total value of leased assets. In 2012, fixed assets given on lease to enterprises and non-financial organizations of Moldova were valued at MDL 467.1 million or 57% of the total value of leased assets. The value of assets given on lease to individuals made up MDL 348.6 million or 43%.
