OREANDA-NEWS. Annual Conference of the Company Trade Union was held at the World Trade Center Moscow (MICEX: WTCM). Vladimir Salamatov, Director General of WTCM, was among the participants.

Presidium of the Trade Union reported on the social work in 2012. Thus, the Trade Union rendered assistance to 329 employees to the total amount of RUR 1.688 mln. during the previous year. Total of 1,971 payments were made under various budget items in accordance with the applications received.

According to Mikhail Kovalev, Chairman of the Presidium of the RPO Trade Union of the WTCM Employees, budget of the Trade Union was based on the following three components: “The first is financial assistance in various forms. The second is cultural, educational and physical culture and sports events. And the third is compensation of the cost of children’s and adult’s holidays”.

Vladimir Salamatov, Director General of WTCM, was proud to note that 2/3 of the staff, namely – 1,008 employees, are members of the Trade Union. “It is a significant force! WTCM is a large family and our objective is to make certain that young employees who join us are as is comfortable among us as those with many years in the company. World Trade Center has its traditions but we are not willing to rest on our laurels. We set up a department of business processes optimization that will assist the company in becoming more efficient, as well as in enhancement of competitiveness of our personnel and of the company in general”, he stressed.

Mr. Salamatov informed the participants of the intention to preserve the social dimension of the WTCM, as well as of the detailed review of all personnel applications to the Presidium of the Trade Union, of substance assistance to the colleagues who found themselves in difficult circumstances of life.

WTCM Director also focused on voluntary medical insurance of the employees. Thus, an agreement with a new insurance company was concluded in 2012. Under the new agreement the employees will have access to a broader range of medical services.

“Our prosperity is in our hands. Success of the company in general and of each employee in particular is in unity”, he concluded.
