OREANDA-NEWS. The Competition for operating personnel of the HPPs forming part of OJSC EuroSibEnergo finished. The team of the Bratskaya HPP became the winner; the team of the Irkutskaya HPP ranked second, while third place went to the team of the Krasnoyarskaya HPP.

Winners in the “Best in Profession” category included: Yury Dvoryansky, a power plant shift supervisor at the Bratskaya HPP; Evgeny Tkachenkov, a workshop shift supervisor at the Bratskaya HPP; Nikolay Tarakanov, a water turbine equipment operator at the Irkutskaya HPP; Dmitry Pavlov, an electrician on duty at the Irkutskaya HPP.

During the competition, the teams demonstrated their knowledge of technical and regulatory documents, the ability to deal with emergencies and minimize the losses, as well as to give first aid to injured people.

In May 2013, the next stage of the Competition will be held among the teams of OJSC Irkutskenergo’s thermal power plants.

The Competition makes it possible to assess the professional skills of the operating personnel of HPPs and enables the participants to share best practices with their colleagues working at other HPPs.”
