The board of directors (the “Board”) of Chongqing Iron & Steel Company Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that at the Board meeting has resolved to appoint Mr. Zhang Li Quan as the deputy general manager of the Company in replace of Mr. Sun Yi Jie due to work adjustment and Mr. Sun remains to be a director and the chief engineer of the Company.

The biographical details of Mr. Zhang Li Quan are as follows:

Mr. Zhang Li Quan, male, aged 50, is of the Han nationality. Mr. Zhang graduated from Kunming Institute of Technology with a postgraduate diploma in nonferrous metallurgy, and is a senior engineer. Mr. Zhang joined the Chongqing Iron & Steel (Group) Company Limited in 1987, and from time to time served at the Company as head of the No.1 sintering workshop of the smelting plant, deputy manager of the smelting plant, manager of the sintering plant and director of the production command center.
